Beck Hayes is a social entrepreneur dedicated to cultivating sustainable ocean industries. This journey has taken her from a partnership with The Nature Conservancy to driving bluetech startup growth and launching her own ventures. Through Sowing Seas, Beck’s work is centered on nurturing a sustainable seaweed farming industry that benefits both people and planet. Her hands-on work with local seaweed farmers through the New England Sugar Kelp Cooperative and the Belize Women’s Seaweed Farmers Association has fostered gender equality and economic growth in coastal communities.
